Radio Jawanan (also known as “Youth FM”) is a commercial radio station broadcasting 24/7 from Kabul on 97.5FM. It is the leading radio station on the youth segment (15-30 years old). Keeping its finger on the pulse to understand their issues and dynamics, Radio Jawanan conceives and develops creative content that appeal to the country’s new generation. However, while discussing critical issues for the youth and encouraging debates, radio Jawanan always makes sure that its content is respectful and does not hurt anyone’s beliefs.
Although strongly focused on entertainment, Radio Jawanan also considers itself a responsible media, raising civic consciousness and promoting dialogue between people and cultures.
